Civil Liberties Committee, CILIC ,  CILIC Is a Malawian Human Rights Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) that protects, monitors, promotes Human Rights and Social Justice through:

Background

.     CILIC is amongst the first human rights organisation to be established in Malawi. It started as an underground  movement  by a group of disgruntled lawyers that was fed up with the oppressive one party rule. It registered as a non gorvernmental organisation in 1993
